Features of the Humpback Whales

The name humpback whale derives from the shape their back forms when they arch to dive, and additionally, the fins of this species display shapes not found in other types of whales. As for their size, a humpback whale can measure between 12 and 16 meters in length, with females being more robust than males.
Fortunately, the humpback whale is not endangered, thanks to the many whales of this species that sweep the Atlantic waters.

Boat excursions allow close proximity to the whales without disturbing their activities.
