How to get to Rio San Juan

To get to Rio San Juan from Santo Domingo you can opt for the Autopista del Nordeste and then take the Carretera Nagua-Cabrera, a journey of approximately 3 hours by car. There are also public transport options, such as buses that make the journey regularly.

From Punta Cana, the most common route is via the Coral Highway north through Higüey and El Seibo to connect with the road to Río San Juan, a journey time of approximately 4 hours by car.
